In addition, both of these objects leak memory. The C++ code behind them uses new, but there are no corresponding calls to delete.

The audio constructor functions need their input validation to be written in the m-files and BIST tests created to go along with the new code. The underlying C++ constructors in audiodevinfo.cc should not have input validation.

Also, the Octave classes as a whole are missing quite a bit of functionality when compared to their Matlab counterparts. Check the list of properties supported for these classes in Matlab to get an idea. This is probably a medium-sized project to add these items.
