Sorry for not being verbose about the reason, it is no secret.

Ernst and I are working on some improvements on the Java interface at https://bitbucket.org/octave_java/octave-java/. We accidentally found an issue on our own branch and claimed it to be a general problem, which it is not.

Makes one curious :-)
How was Ernst's problem solved, or what was the misinterpretation, if any?

Thu 12 Oct 2017 09:17:43 AM UTC, original submission:

java_get("eu.simuline.arithmetics.LogicExprK4", "False").toString()

resulted in the string "False", but now it is
ans = Cx

looks like a problem with encoding?!
