I believe recent upgrades to gnuplot plotting may now require version 4.6.  It really isn't the intention to require that new a version, but the code is still under development and guard blocks need to be put in that check if a feature exists before using it.

Try upgrading gnuplot if you can as jwe suggested.

That's a fairly old version of gnuplot.  Can you upgrade that to something newer?

gnuplot --version
gnuplot 4.4 patchlevel 3

hg id

Recompiled but still error. Is that OK?

What version of gnuplot are you using?

What develompent ID does your build correspond to (hg id)?

Get errors when running make check on some plotting functions but these functions fully pass make check.

What is multiplot please?
