Thank you for the report.
Please check the "Octave Startup" preferences in the tab "General" which are applied after .octaverc. Does this help?

Hello,

I want to change the default folder, so I add following command in the ".octaverc" file:

cd ("~/Documents/Matlab")

It works perfectly with CLI, however it does not work with GUI.

Cheers,
Tung
