Using the Control Package (ver 2.4.2) a modified S/KS mixed sensitivity problem is to be solved for a plant G (see attached file-based on the book by Skogestad Multivariable Feedback Control sec 13_2). The stacked function to be optimized is ||W1 S W3; W2 K S W3||hinf. Since this won't fit into the exact framework for the augw function the augmented plant P=[W1*W3,-W1*G1;zeros(4,6), W2;W3,-G1] is formed directly with horzcat and vertcat commands. P is not minimal, but using the minreal command does not appear to minimize P, leading to a detectability error for A, C2 pair of the augmented plant. Is there a way to form the augmented plant for this problem for a successful solution of the h infinity problem?
