The PKG_{ADD,DEL} scripts of the secs2d package suffer from the same problem diagnosed for the geometry package (Bug #39392).

You might consider applying the same fix proposed in the discussion of Bug #39392, namely putting all the code in PKG_{ADD,DEL} inside "private" functions.
