It's rather about deleting old text.

Section/paragraph 37.3.5 can be dropped completely.
I think I might handle deleting the relevant one or two sentences in the other sections myself w/o fear of mixing up the Texinfo makeup.

Texinfo isn't so hard to write if you already know TeX, and the texinfo manual is pretty good:

https://www.gnu.org/software/hello/manual/texinfo.html

Regardless, it would be helpful if you wrote the text even without texinfo markup. I or someone else can then easily add the mark up and incorporate it into the manual.

subject says all.
AFAICS it's the most prominent in the FAQ under 37.3.5 "How to compile the java package in Octave?"
There's also some in 37.3.4 "How can I handle memory limitations?" and in 37.3.2 "How to make Java classes available to Octave?"

I'm a texinfo n00b, I just enter this in the tracker so it isn't forgotten.
