Closing as a duplicate of a more recently reported bug about the audiorecorder and audioplayer classes.

The work has largely been done to implement these classes, it just needs to be cleaned up and merged into Octave's main repository for a future release.

Please provide any further comments on bug #41242.

It is the reality of the situation. Features are implemented by those who care to implement them. If the feature doesn't exist, nobody has cared enough to implement it. If you care enough yourself, you can implement it yourself. If you are unable to implement it yourself, then you will have to make someone else care enough. Money is a good motivator to make someone care enough, but there are other ways.

Implement it yourself or pay someone to do it.

Thank you for your response,

Then, How can I use audio functionality in Octave?

Hello,

Is there any development progress for audioplayer functionality of Matlab?

Thank you...
