When launching GUI for the first time, "Autoconnect to IRC" is enabled by default and default nick is "User1".

If many users connect with default settings (i mean nickname User1), underscore is appended to theirs nick (User1_, User1__, User1___ and so on) by NickServ, but freenode limits nickname to 16 symbols, as we tested with Jacob Dawid.

So only 11 users can connect to #octave with default settings simultaneously. 12th will be kicked off, which is inadmissible behaviour.

So i suggest popup form with input field for entering nickname at first launch of GUI (check if config file present already) or at every launch, if default nickname "User1" trying to use.
This input field should accept any nick except IRC system nicknames like NickServ, fsbot etc. I think we should prevent user to connect to IC with any default nick anyway.
