PSPP on Windows via pspp4windows. GNU pspp 1.4.1-g79ad47 .  As far as I can tell, the results for ASRESID in a CROSSTABS call return results that are far from what is expected. For example, in the following, SPSS, SAS, and R, give asresid for row 2 and 3 with absolute values > 2. PSPP returns values with absolute values < 1.
