This item has been fixed long ago and I'm closing it.

The output window can now  copy and paste and Drag-n-Drop. I changed that with some commits around here:

https://git.savannah.gnu.org/cgit/pspp.git/commit/?id=092c2acd489e88dd99d1f27560d16fc1ba89c88c

I tested this on Debian and MacOS. On MacOS it works with LibreOffice, Mail, Notes but not with Keynote and Pages. Somebody who can test this on Windows?

Hi John,

i think Elias and I expect to copy from the main output window and not this index on the left side of the window... I can copy from the left part of the window but not from the main output window on the right side.

I checked this again today.  From the latest git version pasting from the output window works fine.

Hello, No, no, no. I have used Lubuntu / Kubuntu. I have used previous PSPP editions. In any of these situations, I could not copy / paste from the output PSPP window.

If you like, I can share my Desktop for Test purposes. As I well to run in my machine PSPP test code.

I think you are probably running on windows.   There have been some similar reports on windows operating systems.  It certainly works ok on GNU/Linux.

If there is a windows expert who can explain why this happens, then we can try to fix it.  Until then I can only suggest you use GNU/Linux instead.

Hello,

Currently, I am unable to copy anythng from the output window.
No text I can copy.

This is a great disadvantage, especially, when I want to copy the syntax.

I must Save the output, and then copy it.

Sincerely,
Elias Tsolis
