In some cases, the graphs generated by PSPP occupy the entire canvas (X-axis and Y-axis), which prevents proper display and limit their function (such as graphical representation of data).

Apparently, SPSS generates margins in its charts representation, which allows a correct visualization of the data that remain inside the axes X and Y.

These margins affect differently depending on the type of chart generated.

Examples:

Bar charts or histograms → There is a margin left, top and right side area.

Box Plots, QQ Plot, Pie Chart → The margin exists in the 4 sides, centering the information

Attached comparison between the charts generated in PSPP and SPSS (same information).
