Not enough information to debug, and report has been waiting on further info since March. Closing report.

This sounds a lot like bug #31080. Are the m-files you are creating at the root directory of a Windows drive, for example E:\afunc.m?

None of an m-file that are in oct2mat, e.g. is_matrix.m, or arg.m are not in my Octave-3.6.1 directory so I think it's not installed.
Rehash had no effect. Still, if I want to run an actual m-file, I have to delete him, run the m-file, interpreter says ... undefined under line ..., save it back and then it works.
I think it's a problem with windows cause I didn't have this problem like a week ago.

Are you sure oct2mat is not installed? It's a package that breaks a lot of things and is frequently inadvertently installed.
Type "rehash" in the interpreter. Does that produce any effect? Any output? Does it re-read the files?

Sorry,
I tried to install oct2mat without any efect.
MinGW binary and Octave for MS Visual Studio 2008 as well with the same result. What do you mean by "try running rehash"?

You tried what? Installing oct2mat? Uninstalling it? How did you install Octave? Are you running Nitzan Arazi's MinGW binary or Michael Goffioul's MSVC binary?
Octave doesn't use the Windows registry, so I don't think touching registry keys should have any effect.
Try running rehash after changing an m-file. Does this still not read the new contents of the file? Do you see any errors running rehash?

I tried and nothing changed. I also tried to delete all octave related keys from the registry, and Document and Settings file and still the same. The strange think is that I didn't have such problem a week ago. And yes, "a code" means m-file.

I think behaviour like this has been reported before. Did you install oct2mat?

What is "a code"? A file?
So you're saying that Octave isn't reading files as you change them?

You mean while programing? Nothing. I'm just learning with the Octave so as I changed a code then it executed the original one. I tried also to delete the code , save it again (under the same name) and the Octave executed the original code, as the compiled version of the already executed program would be stored somewhere in virtual memory of the Octave.

What did you execute before and what did you execute after?

Hi,
I've just downloaded Octave 3.6.1 and if I change a code then the Octave don't execute current one, but the previous. After restarting Octave it execute the actual code
