Hi Pablo,

Yes, we have been working on fixing a bunch of little problems, in preparation for a release of some kind. But my own time is very limited, and progress is slow.

About CKJ, that's an FAQ:
http://www.gnu.org/software/freefont/FAQ.html

About Greek kappa and rho, this is already done in SVN. But we do it right, I think, with font features. Have a look at the usage.txt and features.txt files.

Cheers!

Hi Steve,

after reading other bug reports is that it is clear to me that you plan to make a new release as soon as possible, don’t you?

Another question would be whether you plan (after the next release, at least) to support CJK scripts.

And the last question is whether you would be open to the suggestion (I’d open another bug report, if you agreed) to replace lowercase kappa and lowercase rho by its stylistic alternatives in the FreeSerif typeface only.

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo
