This project is part of the GNU Project.

We aim to provide a set of free outline (i.e. OpenType) fonts covering the ISO 10646/Unicode UCS (Universal Character Set). The set consists of three typefaces: one monospaced and two proportional (one with uniform and one with modulated stroke.)

I'm pleased to announce another release of GNU FreeFont.

This release addresses mostly technical issues with the fonts. Several outstanding bug reports are fixed, and some characters are added, especially Math symbols.

CVS merged with Debian sources

After a considerable amount of time, a new release of free UCS outline fonts is available on Savannah download area.
