Corresponding source code
This definitely isn't a patch, it is an enhancement request. As you noticed that yourself and added a bug report for this as well I will close this as invalid. If you come up with a patch for this feature feel free to reopen this report and add it here.
One more thing, at the moment GNUstep tries to follow Cocoa version 10.5. This doesn't prevent us from adding newer interfaces as we see fit. It just means that we don't regard it as a bug when some newer methods are missing.
The best way to proceed from here is that you come up with some code for the functionality you need for your application and we integrate it into GNUstep.
