The following code should define a, b, and c.  Instead, the line immediately after a comment is ignored (treated as part of the comment).  This is a regression from the current stable parser (3.6.4).

Sample Code:


octave:1> a=1
a =  1
octave:2> %comment
octave:2> b=2
octave:2> c=a+b
error: 'b' undefined near line 1 column 5


The code works correctly if the commands are put in a file and the file is sourced, so this is only about comments typed in on the command line (such as with copy and paste of a chunk of code).
