We've moved to GRUB 2 as a development platform. Unfortunately, GRUB 2 doesn't have network support yet, although there's ongoing work to implement it. If you want to help on that, please contact <grub-devel@gnu.org>.

In the meantime, this bug doesn't apply. I'm closing it.

I got a new Kontron coolMONSTER/VE (http://www.kontron-em.de/product/data/slotpc/coolMONSTERVEd.html) and i got still the same error/problem at GRUB 0.97.

The attached patch is for 0.97 nearly uptodate and works great.

I think it would be a good idea to add this patch with some defines to the davicom.c, so that anyone could activate the patch by using a configure flag like "--enable-kontron-patch".

However, many thanks for Patch.

The rx and tx descriptors and the buffers have to be aligned at 32 byte boundaries. This problem occurs on a Jumptec/Kontron ETX-MGX board based on a GEODE GX1 processor.
