Tue 21 Sep 2021 09:03:20 PM UTC, original submission:   In the GRUB2 documentation, in section 5.1.1 I found this:     FIXME: this section is incomplete. I know sometimes is hard to keep track of all FIXMEs and TODOs, but at least this one is (in my humble opinion) easy to fix. It's just a matter of copying and pasting the contents of the section 4.1.1 of the legacy documentation from the older version of GRUB: https://www.gnu.org/software/grub/manual/legacy/Loading-an-operating-system-directly.html
