Fixes for the easier of these issues are now in SVN for serif and sans.

Remaining, primarly, is the issue of the rkrf priority. This affects several characters, and needs to be fixed.

Most of the missing glyphs are still missing.

Several different issues.

First was that I broke the conjuncts with d_da in a recent commit.

Second was some of these glyphs I had marked as Marathi-only. That can be easily remedied.

Third is simply missing glyphs -- but in many cases, the different fonts differ as to the correct form.

Fourth are other simple bugs... lookup entries in an unfortunate order and such.

Finally is the problem of conjunct ligatures ending in rakaar. One would expect that adding ra to a conjunct ligature would usually put a rakaar on the conjunct ligature glyph. But unfortunately, the 'rkrf' table is executed very early... and a rakar form with the last character will form first, breaking the conjunct ligature. Haven't sorted out how to handle that.

It appears that there are a few pair ligatures not listed in the velthuis tables that are supported by all Sanskrit fonts I have looked at. Also, there are a few pairs that seem to fail to render even though glyphs exist in the fonts.

Well velthuis never claimed to be exhaustive.

All fonts:
tt-va (vert form)
ss-tta (vert form)
Almost all fonts
ch-va (vert form)
ddh-va (vert form)
d-dh-ya (box ya form) (probable bug.)
t-ta rakaar (right now, t-half + tra is formed)
most other fonts
d-d-ya (box ya form) (bug?)
tt-ttru (probable bug.)
ng-nr-ya (box ya form)
j-ja (vert form)
