It is possible to add a feature to recognize a virtual machine that boots the same grub of the hosting machine ? Useful to chenge the 'default' boot entry.

Unfortunately we do not currently have the resources to track down wishlist requests. Please reopen this bug if you can provide a patch, or if you're willing to work on this feature.
Btw, GRUB 2 supports scripting, which makes it much easier to implement what you want.
