Mhhhh, I grepped through the src for bootif and ipappend and had a look again at the documentation - can you prove that I am wrong with a sample or a link on how to boot such a configuration?

Thanks in advance
Rainer

Wrong. And it's not a bug report. It's a support request. Closing

Hi,
we are currently testing grub2 as a replacement for pxelinux. Since our systems have two or more network cards we need to append BOOIF=01:<mac-address of the boot interface> to the command line of the kernel.

With pxelinux we used "IPAPPEND 2" - it seems that this functionality is missing in grub2 - am I right?

Cheers
