I just compiled base/gui/back from the nightly tarballs and it works fine for me.

I will close this bug, please post your errors and whe you have a current version working again, check if the AltGR problem still persists, in case reopen this bug.

Well, I'm running the stable release. Unfortunately, I can't install Back from SVN, I get many errors.

Are you running release or SVN trunk?

could you try this inside Ink ? could you try resetting all your key preferences? I fixed this for Italian keyboards and I suppose the fix is general enough.

In Latin American keyboard you get the character @ with the Alt Gr key, but when you use the combination Alt Gr + 2 the PC emit a "beep". Even if this key is set correctly on System Preferences.
