I can't try this on the particular version, but things seem to work on darwin 9.5.0

The first warning about being unable to find Foundation/Foundation.h looks like something is incorrectly configured .... the apple compiler really ought to be able to find its Foundation/Foundation.h

Are the apple headers installed on the system?

gnustep-make was configured with "--with-library-combo=gnu-gnu-gnu", LIBRARY_COMBO was set to 'apple-apple-apple' by gnustep-make's configure script. No errors were apparent after 'source'ing /usr/GNUstep/System/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh.
