From your comment I take it that this is a bug report on Window Maker. This isn't the bug tracker for Window Maker. Here you are in the bug system of GNUstep. Although Window Maker is the official window manager for GNUstep, the code base is completely separate.

You should try to report your bug at:
http://www.windowmaker.info/

* Desktop Manager *
WindowMaker

* Problem *
It's not a bug, really, but just an annoying limit
that prevent the user from sticking more than 32 icons
to the clip for each virtual desktop.
I's a limit that, at the present time,
makes any point no more.

and, obviously,
.../WindowMaker-.../src/wconfig.h

* Line *
#define CLIP_MAX_ICONS          32

Could you please add a hint which application you are talking about? I don't have a glue about it.

In the file

  wconfig.h

the constant

  CLIP_MAX_ICONS is set to 32

This number is too small in many situations and the RAM spared is pratically null.
