The new field works very well. Thanks a lot.
May be it would be better to have no column identifiers provided by default like 'column1' and 'column2' for table views. It isn't a problem at all, although it's quite weird to have 'classes', 'outlets' and 'actions' used as column identifiers of the three defaut table columns for outline views.

I've added the field in the inspector. I believe that this is a better way to make these modifications anyway, so I'm going to postpone this one for the time being.

Linux Ubuntu 6.10
GCC 4.1.2
GNUstep r25530 (including Gorm)

With recent GNUstep repository versions like r25530, double-clicking a table column header cell doesn't give you a field editor where you can type the column name. The table header cell looks correctly selected (white color) though.

Not related to this bug report, but I would suggest adding a title entry to the table column inspector as it is the case in Interface Builder. It makes editing the title a bit more convenient. This would be specially true on GNUstep because it is usually quite hard to know whether the table header cell is in text edition mode or not. iirc the text insertion cursor isn't visible until you start typing.
