We've moved to GRUB 2 as a development platform. Please can you check if this bug still applies there, and if it does, reopen it?

Grub doesn't boot with an usb key (mass storage) plugged in, it stops at 'Loading Grub 1.5.'. As soon as I unplug the usb key it continues to boot.
