I already released, do not worry. We can work on this when we can.

We need at least 1 of each:
 - demo
 - test

in the docs, clarify what's the difference between inpolyeder and inpolyeder2.

Not very soon, I'm also swamped in work and private issues as many others here. But at some point I can give it a try.
When would you want to make a new release?

It should be in the documentation, but it isn't. I added both function, but they need better docs and tests. Could you take that?

search me ... isnĀ“t that obvious from the code? Maybe later this weekend I can check

I am adding the functions. What is the difference between inpolyeder and inpolyeder2?

ping ! @package maintainer

Still relevant contributions?
Inspecting the geom3d section of the matgeom package (underlying the geometry package) we have:

intersectLinePolygon3d
intersectRayPolygon3d

suggesting that the functionality of the contribution 'isIntersectionInPolygon3D' has already been covered.

I'm less sure that the contributed 'inPolygon3d'-s functionality is anywhere in matgeom of geometry packages.

They definitely are relevant!

I need to check first if geometry already doesn't have some of these. That would be either in the geom3d or in the repo devel folder.

@JuanPi:

Would these functions fit in the geometry package?
Apart from lacking tests they seem to conform to Octave coding style quite well.
