Review for Octave 6.

Sorry for the late response.  After 6 years and too many changes in the respective code your changes do not apply cleanly.

Can you check if the problem your code should solve is already fixed in the latest version of Octave?

Note: This parameter only work when ploting. When plot is printed or saved using proper functions (print(),saveas(),etc.) it don't change rendering of text.
