The attached file contains a few enhancements regarding compatibility with the associated Matlab function. In particular, the following modifications are suggested:
– change of "centerdc" to "centered" orientation (lines 133 and 467)
– modification of the error message in line 558 (cf. #65614)
– slight improvements for axis labels and setting grid at lines 951 - 953)
– some editorial changes on lines 135 and 324

The function is still not fully compatible, but with the suggested changes it can be used in many cases with the same arguments (esp. when using the plotting output).
