The crashes are observed under octave 6.2, 6.4 and 7.1.0:

Defining different structures:

e.g. struc1; ...; struc7

where each structure has 12 parameters, i.e.

struc1.param1, ... struic1.param12

octave crashes. You can interpret e.g. struc1 correctly, but then it can happen that during reading struc2 the interpreter crashes. A crash was always observed while reading all structures. The parameters param* are numbers, strings, scalars or arrays.

I will check the behaviour of octave under Linux.
