Thanks. The ocs package loads successfully for me with these changes.

The shadowed function warnings I get when loading the package seem to actually stem from odepkg.

There don't seem to be any BISTs for the ocs package. So I don't know if it actually works in Octave 6. But it definitely looks better now.

Moving the PKG_ADD/DEL from the root to the inst directory and changing the path add to not go back a directory seems to work for me.

Im adding to mxe, but needs to be changed in ocs.

It does work in windows if installed as a local package.

But then get a number of warnings about showed functions.

The .m files of Octave Forge packages are not stored inside the "lib" folder but inside the "share" folder. Consequently, the package does not work.

I haven't tried on Linux or with other Octave versions.
