Closing as a duplicate of bug #53860. The Octave Forge documentation for Octave core functions hasn't been updated since version 4.2. Fixing the root problem will add new and updated function references to the site.

Hello,

there is no documentation for the function mad from base octave package.

For example iqr is documented at
https://octave.sourceforge.io/octave/function/iqr.html

But there is no
https://octave.sourceforge.io/octave/function/mad.html

Searching for functions mad only finds it in package nan, but not in base package octave.

Kind regards
Elmar
