Internally in Frats, located in pr-output.cc, the C++ is calling octave_value.print ().  Perhaps there is a way to signal to the routine that this extraneous information, which is meant to be printed by the interpreter, should not be displayed.

 Columns 1 through 9:

           1           1           1           1           1           1           1           1           1

 Columns 10 through 18:

           1           1           1           1           1           1           1           1           1
           1           1           1           1           1           1           1           1           1

 Columns 19 through 25:

           1           1           1           1           1           1           1
           1           1           1           1           1           1           1



Matlab doesn't include the unnecessary "Columns X through Y:" information.
