Good catch.  Corrected in this changeset (https://hg.savannah.gnu.org/hgweb/octave/rev/15d3f8857326).

Hi Maintainers,

There's a typo in the Documentation in Section 15.3.3.5 Text Properties.

Specifically,

position: four-element vector, def. [0 0 0]
Vector [X0 Y0 Z0] where X0, Y0 and Z0 indicate the position of the text anchor as defined by verticalalignment and horizontalalignment.

It's actually a three-element vector, not a four-element vector.
