There's one other possibility - get "set annotation off" to work ("set gamelist off" works fine).
After using F11 to go fullscreen, you cannot easily restore the screen's normal appearance. Whether you use <escape> or F11 again, it's initially redrawn correctly but some code (apparently introduced in the 1.0 release if I can trust my 40474 entry) then redraws it a second time, cutting off the lower part of the screen. The workarounds I suggested in 40474 are not adequate for the Python script that I'm writing that will allow people to easily review saved files. Although I could probably fix this myself, I can't imagine being allowed to update the code base with the change so I need someone to do it for me. If anyone is semi-sympathetic I'd be happy to help make this less painful by providing at least partial remuneration. An alternate solution is to allow both "set panels off" and "set commandwindow on", but that's likely more difficult. Currently the latter is (understandably) ignored if the former is set. In either case, it would be important to retain the cursor position in the Command window (currently it's undefined after exiting fullscreen mode).
(Note: upload size limit is set to 16384 kB, after insertion of the required escape characters.)
