Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

As mentioned in the registration pages, we do not host complete distros, distros isos, packages repositories, etc, mainly because we couldn't check the licenses of each and every package it is composed of. We may just offer support for organisational purpose and dedicated software (such as iso creation scripts).

How do you plan to use the Savannah services? Maybe you'll only publish a modified version of uClinux?

Before approval, we prefer to see your source code, so we can check it for legal issues (even non-functional code is OK). Among other checks, we will check that the source files contain appropriate copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file. Our review helps catch potential legal issues early.

If you need Savannah right now, please explain to us why; otherwise, please resubmit the project when you have source code.

If we approve your project without source code, we will review the code in the near future (or better, at your request). If then the source code does not meet our requirements (for example, non-free dependencies), we will then discuss the issue and possibly remove the project from Savannah.

Do you need the Savannah services now, and if yes do you agree with the above conditions?

Please register your project once more answering the questions above.

Regards.

Description:

HyperScan is a Game System Developed thena badnoned by Mattel. It is envisioned that this unit can be utilized as a base processing unit for deveolpment in the computing article to further it's use.

The SUNPLUS S+core is a 32-bit cpu. Is a architecture, and this port of Linux (or uClinux) would be built upon it's core devices.

Right now, it has the gnu S+core tool chain. To evaluate the S+core cpu and tool chain and to support interested parties, it is looked to provide HyScLinux solution.
This project is a S+core port of uClinux into HyScLinux, we intend to port uClinux to the assocoiated platforms such as SPG290, SPG291, SPG292, SPG300... These platforms could be used to develop further consumer devices, aswell as expand upon the uses of the HyperScan Game System.

We know, uClinux is a powerful and suitable OS to be used in consumer devices. To service people who are interested or adopt our solution, we use this platform to communicate with these people.

This project provide a total solution of software of our platforms, the solution will include uClinux, uClibc, rootfs, qtGUI, and many drivers and applications that people can use uClinux on our platforms (such as SPG290, SPG291, SPG292, SPG300...) easily.

We need this platform to communicate with people(developers) who are interested, adopt our solution.

source code URL: right now, we are planing to develop, we will refer the source code from http://www.uclinux.org/. If pass the registration, we will put the source code in this project website.

Other Comments:

This is a project for the General Community to contribute to and develop to enhance an already exsisting product by software as which was done with the Sony PSP, playstaion portable device.
