A long while past...
Something which was ignored, is awared. libc, gcc... How great an effort in these libraries which is underlying, and these tools of building and helping.
Last time I was in worry and hurry, with the weight of learning and strained relation with relatives.
In may, I knew its wasty to place a package for the sake of a particular region on a global server, acrossing the vast pacific ocean. A local server would do more good before it become mature, with the community of users.
I had not read LGPL last time, that's why the wrongly used term LGPL in the submission:)
That's all, see you later, if it can become good enough.

Regards, Wu

Hello,

Currently we lack people to review projects, so we
cannot accept new projects for a little while.

I'm closing this project submission now, so the Savannah will get a chance to
reorganize the approval process more efficiently.

Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

Currently I am not home-_- pulled away by an accident. Can you extend the deadline by three weeks (in the worst case)? Thank you for your kind.

If its impossible, can you assign the right to me now? I agree with the possible removal. Also, please tell me how to send a note to you when I uploaded the source. Sorry for the trouble.

Regards,
Wu

Hi,

Your projects meets the Savannah requirements, except that we cannot review your source code yet.

We prefer to approve project with source code, so we can check it for legal issues (even non-functional code is OK). We will among others check if the source files contain appropriate copyright notice and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file. Our review helps catch potential legal issues early.

If you need Savannah right now, please explain to us why; otherwise, please resubmit the project when you have source code.

If we approve your project without source code, we will review the code in the near future (or better, at your request). If then the source code does not meet our requirements (for example, non-free dependencies), we will then discuss the issue and possibly remove the project from Savannah.

Do you need the Savannah services now, and if yes do you agree with the above conditions?

Regards,
Jean-Michel

Registration Details

  • Name: faci - font adapter concerns ideography
  • System Name:  faci
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v2 or later

Description:

It adapts vga/ega font at run time for chinese text.
according to the characters being showed on the screen,
it selects a subset from the whole set and fills it
into the font slots, of the graphic card in text mode.
so that even a chinese article can be viewed under
console, though usally its patially.
Currently has only two c files, one is a slightly
changed version of linux's video/console/vgacon.c, and
another is a standalong "more"like viewer. so the
former module should still be GPLed. the latter, meant
to be useful as wide as possible, is to be LGPLed. this
is my plan.
No URL I had, sorry. nor a mailling of the source code
has been done. merely some words and don't know can them
persuade -_-
all the same, wish you happy.

Other Software Required:

Linux kernel
