Hello Savannah Team,

it has been a lot of work to keep up with the material and synchronise it. I just don't have any more time to wait, so I bought a server and host it there.

Hello,

Sorry for not answering. Currently we lack people to review projects, so we cannot accept new projects for a little while.

I'm closing this project submission now, so the Savannah will get a chance to reorganize the approval process more efficiently.

Thanks again and sorry for the inconvenience.

I have uploaded an updated tarball to the same address as the old one. Do I really have to append a copy of the FDL to each document or is it sufficient to have a copy of the FDL in the source dir (as it is in the current tarball)? When releasing sources under the GPL, I don't include the entire license with every source file either, nor do I show it on each start of the program. Please tell me what I need to do there.

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

(I'm not sure how the documentation works, when I compile a main.pdf in the project, TeX is expecting me to answer something twice, but due to output being hidden, I don't know what that's about. So I may ask silly questions here).

- In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GFDL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements after the title page of each work.

In addition, if you haven't already, please add a copy of the FDL (available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html in various formats) as a section of your works.

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl.html#SEC4

http://www.gnu.org/licenses/fdl-howto.html also covers additional points, including a smaller notice that you can use in auxiliary files.

- Your copyright notice is
Copyright \copyright 2007 Pippijn van Steenhoven / The IT students at HSKA.

This is vague, because "The IT students at HSKA" is not a legal entity. In addition, depending in what circumstances they contribute to the documentation, they may not own the copyright for their changes (maybe the university does if that's part of an assignment. This is not sure, but this needs to be clarified).

- Can you explain me what license.xmp refers to? (by-nc-sa is not a free license)

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project.  Upon review, we will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah.

To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface by following the link below. Do not reply directly; the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Regards.

Description:

I started writing a script for Computer Science, Linear Algebra, Calculus and Physics in my university (they can currently be downloaded in PDF under http://www.home.hs-karlsruhe.de/~vapi0012/studies.html). Until recently, I was the only one working on it. Now, however, more people want to get involved in improving it, giving it book quality. We would like to have a repository, where we store our files and where it gets versioned automatically.

Other Software Required:

- LaTeX (texi2pdf)
- XFig 3.2 or higher
- Asymptote
