Furthermore, if parts of SDL (or any other projects) was released under the terms of the LGPL you should add a COPYING.LIB was the LGPL as well.

And last but not least, if you would like to offer your project to the GNU project,

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Full Name:
----------
 SDLjump

System Group Name:
-----------------
 sdljump

Type:
-----
 non-GNU software & documentation

License:
--------
GNU General Public License V2 or later

Description:
------------
SDLjump is a simple game where your goal is to keep jumping to upper falling platforms in order to avoid touching the lower part of the screen. Despite being written from scratch, it is inspired by Xjump and tries to emulate its game logic accurately, as well as adding new features that Xjump lacked:
- Multiplayer mode (up to four players, not networked)
- Smooth graphics possible (but xjump style as well)
- Different themes are available
- Can use OpenGL for rendering
- Replays (Already coded but not released yet)
- Sounds (In preparation)

The project is already hosted at sourceforge and can be downloaded here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sdljump

The game is already included in Debian GNU/Linux, Gentoo, Ubuntu, and many other distributions.

It is proven that runs with no problems in GNU/Linux and Windows(Mingw), but must work on any SDL supported platform. It is written in C and compiles without problems with GCC.

Other Software Required:
------------------------
 - SDL (http://www.libsdl.org)
- SDL_Image (http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_image/)
- SDL_Mixer (http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_mixer/)
- GL & GLU (http://www.mesa3d.org/ would be enough as you can also use the software render)

Other Comments:
---------------
As I said, the project is already hosted at Sourceforge. However, I wanted to move to Savannah for two reasons:
- Idelogical reasons: It is the best way of supporting Free Software, the GPL license (specially the polemical third version) and the GNU project.
- Technical reasons: Sourceforge's webpage is full of advertisement. Sourceforge services are often down or slow. SF page is very heavy. Dokuwiki doesn't work at SF's hosting service.

I suppose that this game would enter the Non-gnu section. I don't know if you accept games in the GNU project, but if you do, I wouldn't mind chaging the game's name to GNUjump.
