The work on the 0.8 release was done on a Compaq Presario 2203AL laptop running Fedora Core 2(Tettnang) on a Pentium M 715 1.5 GHz processor. I have not performed tests on other platforms, architectures, and OSes. It is very necessary that such tests are performed. It would be very nice if people come forward for such work, and after every test post a reply stating the details of the platform, architecture, OS, and flavour on which the test was performed. |

Few days back, I tested the 1.0beta version on a AMD 32-bit system running Ubuntu 5.10. The installation was glichless. However there seems to be a problem when the BASE directory's name contains a white-space. I will be looking into it.
