Thank you for submitting your package!

I'd recommend always putting complete license notice, not just "this is GPLv3 or later" like you write in TODO or tests/README;
also, manual pages like xges-create.1 should have copyright and license notices visible for people who read the page, not in comments; you could check the man page for GNU ls for example.

Description:

Generate videos via the command-line.
It's written in C, and uses gnome/gtk libraries.

This program creates .xges files that can be rendered with ges-launch, or the pitivi video editor.  You can create your timeline by specifying clips and making layers, do greenscreening, etc.

xges-create does not use the gstreamer editing service libraries directly, instead we just write the text of the .xges files.  As a result, this program can break when the .xges file format changes.

xges-create was initially created to generate video non-interactively for an independent video project.  It saves a whole lot of time to not have to mouse-around a video editor, and it also allows for easy repeatability, and more precision.
