It doesn't show up there because Karl closed it when he responded to the issue.

This issue can be closed --- html-to-texi has just been imported to GNA!^2  (the squared is for a second exclamation mark :-D )

BTW, how come that I cannot see this item in the "my items" link?

Anyhow, thank you for proposing to give a hand.

Maybe before you do anything, I will try as a very last attempt to send an email directly to all the gna! administrator and see what happens.

Dear Karl,

Thank you for the proposal, which I accept gladly, if you can create the html-to-texi project with the same description as on gna! and upload the cvs dump from my page that would be great.

My only motivation for going to gna! rather than savannah was that I liked better the blue color ( ;-P ).

Hi Vincent,

I don't know who the gna administrators are.
gna and savannah are, at this time, completely distinct.  The connection at one time was essentially that Sylvain (Beucler) was  heavily involved in both, and at that time they shared code ("savane"). He might be listening here and might still know and be able to advise, but I don't have other ideas. If they don't answer, they don't answer.

As for savannah (or savane) coding, there is no active development anywhere as far as I know.  There are various abandoned projects in that area in various states of disarray.

As for svn uploads, that is one thing on savannah I know how (and am willing) to do, if you want to switch to savannah :).

best,
karl

Hello,

After quite some time I never could upload my CVS tree SVN dump (which I did with sime cvs2svn python script) to gna!, see:

https://gna.org/support/?2991

So:

  • is there any plan that savannah engine will offer that sort of feature to allow upload of a tree when the current tree is empty?

  • do you have any idea how long it takes for the gna! administrators to feedback ?

  • maybe it is wiser to move to another forge... ?

Sorry for the disturbance, but since these forges are related, and it seems that the savannah engine is handled here, I am trying to get some feedback here too.
