2014-01-13: Nevermind, changed from Subversion to Git and moved it to GitHub.com

Registration Administration

While this item will be useful to track the registration process, approving or discarding the registration must be done using the specific Group Administration page, accessible only to site administrators, effectively logged as site administrators (superuser):

Registration Details

  • Name: ThunderSync
  • System Name: thundersync
  • Type: non-GNU software and documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v2 or later (GPL v2)

Description:

Allows to synchronise Thunderbird's addressbook with external directories/files. Right now, only vCard version 2.1 is supported as export file format.

Most information of Thunderbird's addressbook is translated into the vCard format. Untranslatable stuff is coded as X-MOZILLA-PROPERTY:PropertyName;PropertyValue. Contact fotos are processed, too.

Other Software Required:

Mozilla Thunderbird, MPL-2.0/GPL-2/LGPL-2.1, https://www.mozilla.org/thunderbird/

Other Comments:

This extension is already hosted as XPI file at https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/addon/thundersync/

Due to user requests I'd like to be able to manage bug reports and provide a repository.

The "tarball" is a XPI file (native format of Mozilla extensions). XPI files are just ZIP archives holding all the source files, therefore it should be similar to a tarball. But of course I can create a traditional tarball if neccessary.

Tarball URL:
