Ok.  I think that's acceptable.

I have approved this project.  You will receive an auto-generated
email containing detailed information about the approval.

Regards and thanks for your interest in free software.

Savannah is a good place for code repository, but bitbucket.org provides a more convenient way for people to make their fork. In fact, many people make a fork only for their own use, not for public. What is more, on bitbucket.org, people could watch and follow projects, which means they may got notified when a new commit is submitted. And for me, Savannah will be the place for major development, which means all of my collaborators (if there's any in the future) will doing their work at Savannah (code repository, mailing list, etc.). I will maintain the repository on bitbucket.org by myself and no one else will commit to bitbucket.org.

I can't find these files. Or maybe I've got the wrong understanding?

Hello.  I'm sorry for the delay.

We want Savannah to be the main development place.  We invite anyone
who wish to make a fork (Which is a separate project, by definition)
to host it at GNU Savannah.  If they decide to host it elsewhere they
can upload their version to the hosting site.  What makes
bitbucket.org different?.

If you mean someone who wishes to contribute to the mainstream
development branch (The one you maintain AFAIK) we invite them to join
the existing project in GNU Savannah as well.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There are some files prefixed with ._: "AppleDouble encoded Macintosh
file".  Are these part of CmdLauncher?.  Do you plan to upload them to
GNU Savannah or they just slipped into the tarball?.  Otherwise
everything seems to be in ok.
Please fix these issues and provide a updated tarball.  You can either
attach it to the tracker or use an external hosting and provide a
direct download URL.
Regards
Ok, thanks for your rapid reply.
I noticed you'te refering to the GNU/Linux OS as "Linux" in the
CmdLauncher documentation.  Linux is just a kernel of a more complex
system.  For more information, see
http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html and
https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php.
Would you mind changing references to Linux as an OS to GNU/Linux?
Hi.
I'm still planning to host this project on GNU Savannah. Recently I've registered this project on sourceforge.net but I could remove that.
Could I keep the source repository on both GNU Savannah and bitbucket.org? Some guys may want to fork this project easily on bitbucket.org.
Thanks.
Hi.
I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in GNU Savannah.
You can reach the rest Savannah hackers (Staff) in this list:
http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers-public.
Apologize the delay.  If you are still planning to host your project
at GNU Savannah please confirm it so we continue with the registration
processes.  If we do not get the confirmation within 2 week we will
assume than you no longer plain to host the project on Savannah but if
is the case please tell us - we don't bite, and it will make us gain
time.
GNU Savannah is a central point for development, distribution and
maintenance of GNU Software and other free software.
We do not want to be used as a mere mirror of a project developed
elsewhere.  Your project development should happen primarily on
Savannah.  Are you planning to move CmdLauncher from bitbucket to GNU
Savannah?.
Regards.
  • System Name:  cmdlauncher
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
Description:
This project is aimed at helping people launch a command in a graphical way.
As we can see, for people who are not computer expert, it is painful for them to use even a simple command. But this project provide a simple way for developers to make their console programs launch by selecting one from the list, or choosing a file, or something else which could be done easily by people who are not expert. What the developers need to do is write a simple ini format file containing information of their command line programs, which will be read by cmdlauncher.
This project is written in C++ and based on Qt4(http://qt.nokia.com). To use it, Qt4 must be installed.
Other Software Required:
Qt4 LGPL http://qt.nokia.com
