Done.

The file is now updated at same url:  http://es.gnu.org/~reneme/fsmap/fsmap-savannah.tar.gz   90MB

Changes done:

added a text with the copyright in all the svg main files: fsmap-es.svg, fsmap-ca.svg, fsmap-fr.svg, fsmap-en.svg and  fsmap-contents.svg.  (This will be added to any svg file changed or added from today to the proyect.)

Added link in fsmap-contents.svg to the COPYING file and to the license at gnu.org.

Added GFDL 1.3 to one new file named COPYING.
Added copyright note to the README file.

Thanyou for your time :)

pong

I'll try to do the changes.  It's GFDL>=1.3.
It's not a binary or program.

I'll add one COPYING file with the GFDL licence.

Hi,

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in Savannah.

While doing so I have noticed a few problems which are described below.

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the GNU GPL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any file more than 10 lines long.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the plain text version of the GPL, available from http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

If some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. binary files), then you can add a README file in the same directory containing the copyright and license notices. Check http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for further information.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.  To learn why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code, for example, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

If you are willing to make the changes mentioned above, please provide us with an URL to an updated tarball of your project.  Upon review, we will reconsider your project for inclusion in Savannah. To help us better keep track of your registration, please use the tracker's web interface by following the link below. Do not reply directly; the registration process is not driven by e-mail, and we will not receive such replies.

Best regards.

Registration Details

  • Name: Free Software Concept Map
  • System Name:  fsmap
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU Free Documentation License (Inside the SVGs there can be groped some icons with diferent licences.

All the icons are free but some are GPL o other free licence.

All licences are detailled.)

Description:

The free software Concept Map is a graphical description in a concept rmap of the free software world.

The fsmap, Free Software Concept Map, is a visual document to understand free software in a view. That's very usefull when you are preparing didactical units to teach it.

A concept map expresses the the meaning of free software by drawing relations with source code, distributions, free software freedoms, human values, developers, and other relaterd terms.

It is vectorial images that are developed usin a SVG standar and can be readable with free browsers. That makes eassy to have a vectorial image for all the sizes needed.

It has been mantained since 5 years ago and it has been hosted in es.gnu.org. Since version 4 it uses GFDL and now it has GFDL >=1.3. Now days it's translated to 30 diferent langues.

It has diferent maps asociated in the hipermap. The goal is to mantain a complete didactical unit in all the langues and promote the free software fundation values divulgation.

Other Software Required:

The graphs are SVG , there aren't any dependence.

Other Comments:

there are a lot of complements and a lot of translations but not all the files are updated to last versión.  So, for reasons of uniformity, contributions and time needed to update all the contents, i'll just add here some of the SVG files from the version 4 or later.

All the rest will still remain at es.gnu.org until we find time to prepare and upload the diferent parts.
