Hi

Thanks for approval and tips about licence notice, they will be happily followed.

mobilerepo.toile-libre.org is a preliminary site for the project to communicate a bit with the few that were told about the project. As Savannah offers all required for the project the old page will most likely just point to the one on Savannah.

Best regards

I just noticed another issue: Savannah is aimed at hosting full projects, not just being a mirror. I assume you are willing to move over from http://mobilerepo.toile-libre.org/, right?

Hi Cédric,

I am reviewing your submission on behalf of Savannah, sorry for the delay.

In regards to the license, everything seems to be fine. For clarity, it would be nice if the README file did state clearly the license of the package, just as you state clearly in the COPYRIGHT file or here in the submission.

Another recommendation: all files should reside in a common directory in the tar file, instead of being scattered at the top level. The usual suggestion is to have Unix name + version in the name, such as: apporaserver-0.0.1.tar.gz.

I am approving your submission. Welcome, and have fun!

I've approved your project--welcome on board! :-)

You'll receive a mail notification with further instructions shortly.

Registration Details

  • Name: Appora server
  • System Name:  apporaserver
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU Affero General Public License v3 or later (The documentation about configuration is licenced under CC BY-SA.)

Description:

Appora is a project inspired by mobile applications stores or markets and classic package repositories.

The concept of markets is getting popular on mobile devices but even if there is a lot of choices for Android end-users, none of the solutions is free nor decentralized.

Appora final goal is providing coherent bundles of free applications (getting closer to distributions) and bringing freedom in applications broadcasting and updating on mobile devices.

The server is written in php in a modular way to help adapting it to multiple target OS (aimed first at Android) and data sources (mysql, file...). Other languages and modules are welcome providing that clients stay compatible with all implementations.

Other Comments:

Project page is http://mobilerepo.toile-libre.org.
This is only the server part. You can test it by setting get parameters, a short documentation is found in the latest draft.
