Hello Stephane.

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in GNU Savannah.
You can reach the rest Savannah hackers (Staff) in this list:
http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers-public.

I noticed some issues with the tarball you submited:

In README, NVidia Cg is listed as optional Ogre3D dependency, its
license reads "Custom free license (binary only)".  Accessibility of
source code is a necessary condition for free software.  If it is
binary only, then it can't be free as in freedom but proprietary[1].
The current wording of "License" can be a point of misunderstandings.

I ask you to clarify the proprietary license as such and remove the
link to the "Cg" site.  Linking to a proprietary software site is
unnecessary and promotes proprietary software.  By no means we want to
encourage the use of non-free software[2].

Do Weapon Factory have a specific dependency on Nvidia Cg?.

A note regarding references to "BSD", "BSD-Like" and "MIT" licenes:
These names are ambiguous because several and substantially different
licenses are referred as "BSD-Like"; likewise, the MIT has used many
licenses for software.  Could you please use a specific name instead?.
More information in
http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.html#BSD-style.

There are "*.tmp" files in /weapon-factory/src/input-functors.  I
suppose they accidentally slipped into the tarball and therefore I
didn't considered them in the review.  If you really meant to upload
them to GNU Savannah I would ask you to add the licensing information
just as with the other files.

Besides the Liberation font, I'm unable to find the licensing
information of the files in /weapon-factory/resources and
/weapon-factory/src/Makefile.  Without clear Copyright & licensing
information the user can't make safe use of the software: If the
permissions for these files are unknown then we can't assume some in
particular.  If we can't assume permissions, we can't use safely use
the file.  Please take the time to ensure your files are properly
licensed.  We talked about the generic procedure in
https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?10647#comment1.  Don't hesitate to ask
us if you need more information with some point.

Please fix these issues and provide a updated tarball.  You can ethier
attach it to the tracker or use an external hosting and provide a
direct download URL.

Regards
