Hi Alex,

I'm already working on the project.  Everything works.  Thank you!

Hi Sergiy,

The project has already been approved, you can upload the code to CVS, SVN or git directly. I believe you got a confirmation mail?

Thanks!

Hi Alex,

I've considered your suggestions in the new tarball.  Thank you!

As to the license choice.  It is not grouped with other GPL licenses at the top of the list, it is listed after the "other" and in my case it was hidden (the list ended with "other" and you had to scroll to see GPLv3).  I just oversaw this during the submission, my mistake.  Is it possible to sort the list to prevent such mistakes?

OK, my fingers itch to start with the project. :-)

Hi Sergiy,

I am reviewing your submission on behalf of Savannah. Everything is compliant as far as hosting requirements are concerned. However there are a few improvements that can be suggested:

  • The top directory is usually called as your project plus the version:  e.g. csv2itdb-0.1. Likewise with the tarball: csv2itdb-0.1.tar.gz.
  • You include the GPLv3 license, but declare it to be GPLv2 or later in the description. I am changing the description to GPLv3 or later.
  • There is no README in the top directory. It would help to explain what the tool does, what license it is under and include a few examples there. It should also contain the license header (perhaps at the bottom of the file).

These are however just suggestions. I am approving your submission so you can work on it within Savannah in the version control of your liking. Welcome aboard!

I've approved your project--welcome on board! :-)

You'll receive a mail notification with further instructions shortly.

Hi,

I'd like to mention, that iTest seems to be the only active Project providing a free software tool for computerized examination of that quality.  I've been in contact with the author of iTest and he finds csv2itdb useful.  There is already an improved version of the converter, but I find no way to resubmit the tarball.
