Whoops, please ignore the Note 1, I confused the mails.

The name of the project remain as is, unless you askus to change it.

Hi.

Please excuse the long delay, I'm having trouble with my MUA
configuration.

I have approved this project.  You will receive an auto-generated
email containing detailed information about the approval.

I noticed the files in the tarball are under a directory named
"gnuversion" but the project is called webrel and isn't part of the
GNU project.  If you want to offer Double Precision Genetic Algorithm
Fortran Subroutine to the GNU Project see
http://www.gnu.org/help/evaluation.html.

Note 0: You selected "GNU General Public License v2 or later" in the
licnese field before sending the project, but really it's under the
GNU GPL 3 or any later.  I updated the License field.

Note 1: At your request I changed "wjsrel" by “webrel” in project
System name field.

Hi.

I'm evaluating the project you submitted for approval in GNU Savannah.
You can reach the rest Savannah hackers (Staff) in this list:
http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/savannah-hackers-public.

In order to release your project properly and unambiguously under the
GNU GPL, please place copyright notices and permission-to-copy
statements at the beginning of every copyrightable file, usually any
file more than 10 lines long.

In addition, if you haven't already, please include a copy of the
plain text version of the GPL, available from
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl.txt, into a file named "COPYING".

For more information, see http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html.

If some of your files cannot carry such notices (e.g. binary files),
then you can add a README file in the same directory containing the
copyright and license notices. Check
http://www.gnu.org/prep/maintain/html_node/Copyright-Notices.html for
further information.

The GPL FAQ explains why these procedures must be followed.  To learn
why a copy of the GPL must be included with every copy of the code,
for example, see
http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html#WhyMustIInclude.

Please fix this issues and provide a updated tarball.  You can ethier
attach it to the tracker or use an external hosting and provide a
direct download URL.

Regards

Registration Details

  • Name: Double Precision Genetic Algorithm Fortran Subroutine
  • System Name:  gadopf
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v2 or later

Description:

In the most scientific and engineering fields of research Fortran is still the most important programming language.
In some of this fields genetics algorithms is a very powerfull tool: civil building, climate change, earthquake forecasting, biology... The most parts of libraries of genetics algorithms coded in Fortran, if not the whole, use a single precision fitness function, but in some situations this may be a quite poor resolution. This project would help to write a little library that code a genetic algorithm in Fortran with a double and/or long double fitness function, that have to be liable, fast and suitable for a wide range of fields of investigation.
